1. Funky Beat: 5/10. Beat is funky, very grandiose. First Grandmaster Dee lyrical feature?
2. One Love: 7/10. The intro beat is hard, all my style. I guess I like Whodini’s love tracks. Love the chorus.
3. Growing Up: 4/10. Very cheesy lyrics. Beat is quite funky with a great bass twang.
4. I’m a Ho: 8/10. Beat is hard, slightly aggressive cadence, great lyrics. Another chorus I know from a sample! “Now how’s your wife and my kid” was a highlight. First song with some grit, right up my alley.
5. How Dare You: 3/10. Seeing this song length makes me sigh. Beat is quite rideable, just way too long.
6. Fugitive: 5/10. Extragavant with eletric guitar breakdowns that are great. I do enjoy the back and forth betwen J and E, just not resonating lyrically and too long once again.
7. Echo Scratch: 3/10. Not vibing with the cadence and rhyme scheme on this one. The beat really hypes up in the sceond half but 2 minute outro again.
8. Last Night (I Had a Long Talk With Myself): 8/10. Hook is a banger, love the lyrical content overall. Groovy beat, got me singing along at the end.
9. The Good Part: 7/10. Has a silly fun feel, got me to put my hands in the air. Verse 2 is a slight dud for me.
Overall Mathematical Score: 5.6/10
Does the heart agree?: Absolutely. Some bangers on this one, the beats are just trending for the better. Only thing holding it back is the dragging on of songs.
